Monster Mash Studios

Monster mash Studios is a team of 5 students from Teesside University. We're in our final year of our BA degree in Computer Character Animation.

We are artists and traditional animators, so our film is completely created in 2D using a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Toon Boom Harmony.

The film went through many story changes before reaching its final form, ranging from a vampire and his son, to a magic salesman and then to a vampire with a fan stalker. The main idea that remained through all the changes, was the comedic distress that our vampire; Renfield went through.

This film was a big undertaking for all of us, but it was a good learning experience and will help each of our animations in the future.
